Irrigation Water To Be Shut Off


The Trail Creek Irrigation Company will be turning off the irrigation water to City Residents on Tuesday, July 23th.  Please be cautious as you may switch your sprinkler systems over to the culinary water from the City.  The current City charges for water are as follows:


Base Rate: $24

1st Tier Usage Rate: $1.75 per 1,000 gallons for usage between 0 and 12,000 Gallons

2nd Tier Usage Rate: $2.00 per 1,000 gallons for usage between 12,000 and 20,000 Gallons

3rd Tier Usage Rate: $3.00 per 1,000 gallons for usage above 20,000 Gallons.

Planning and code consultant Code Studio returns to town with a design team of experts (urban designers, architechs & economists) for a week long open design studio, hands on activities, and discussions for all levels of participation.

Natural Resources Advisory Forum I

A place where citizens share information ideas, and debate to create solutions.This first in a series of forums on Natural Resources in the two Teton Counties will focus on the forest fuels management. WHat are the hazards when too much fuel builds up? How do these hazards affect public safety and recreation? What options do we have for mitigation and habitat enhancement?

Home and Garden Show

Sitting around trying to figure out how to spend that upcoming income tax refund? For ideas on home improvement and how to spruce up that gardening area plan on attending the "Teton Valley Home and Garden Show" that will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 8th and 9th at Kearsley's Trees. Kearsley's is located at 7879 South 2750 West - 2 1/2 miles west on Cedron Road.

Hours of this event will be: March 8th - Noon to 7:00 p.m. and March 9th- 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will be representation from various nursaries and home product businesses that will be there for you to ask questions and make purchases.

Public Notice

City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Feb 13th, 2013 at 7:00 PM, to propose an amendment to Title 2, Chapter1, Section 2 of the Victor City Code.

The proposed amendment relates to the geographic composition of the commission membership as well as residency requirements of the commission membership.

The proposed text of this ordinance is available for public view at Victor City Hall.

Written comment will be accepted until 5:00 pm  Feb, 11, 2013.

Surplus Inventory Auction





On January 10, 2013, the City of Victor will hold a public sealed bid auction for the following surplus inventory:

1.      Machine: 1981 – 910 Wheel Loader – Serial # 41Y00977 – 7,470 hours

2.      1976, ¾ ton, 4 wheel drive, red Chevrolet truck with utility boxes

Separate sealed bids will be received by the City at Victor City Hall, located at 32 Elm Street, Victor, ID 83455.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:00 p.m. on January 10, 2013 at said Victor City Hall.  Bids will be received up to the scheduled bid opening.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect the equipment at the city yard behind City Hall.  Please contact the City at (208) 787-2940 to schedule an appointment with Public Works to inspect the equipment.
