FY18 Proposed Budget & Upcoming Meetings

The Victor City Council will review the proposed FY18 budget during its June 28 and July 12 meeting and will hold the associated public hearing during its August 9th meeting.   Public comment will be taken at all meetings but may also be submitted in writing to Victor City Hall, PO Box 122, Victor ID 83455 or by fax, 208-787-2357.  Public comment may also be emailed to  As always, the City of Victor welcomes and encourages all public comment especially on items as important as the budget!

Now Hiring - Seasonal Public Works Position

Seasonal Public Works Position - The City of Victor seeks a fun, self-starting, professional team player to join our Public Works Department for the spring and summer season.  Responsibilities for this position include the maintenance and upkeep of all City parks, pathways, streets, water, sewer, irrigation, equipment, and facilities and may require emergency on call services.  The job will include some operation of heavy equipment.  Compensation for this position will depend on experience.

Victor Placemakers Group Formed

The Victor Placemakers group formed in November 2016 to help make Victor’s Main Street a more vibrant and attractive place for visitors and residents to gather, shop and spend time, as well as a safer, more efficient transportation corridor. The group is made up of representatives of the Victor City Council, Victor city government, Victor Urban Renewal Agency and community volunteers who attended a three-day Community Mobility Institute training in Idaho Falls put on by New Mobility West on ways to revitalize small towns through inexpensive, grassroots efforts and thoughtful planning.

Victor Idaho, January 3, 2017 – The Victor City Council unanimously confirmed the appointment of Josh Wilson as Planning and Zoning Administrator during a special meeting on January 3, 2017.  Mayor Potter commented, “Josh is top-notch.  His well-rounded and extensive experience combined with a personal affinity for Teton Valley makes him a great fit for the job.”

Pursuant to established procedure, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Victor City Council will hold a public hearing at Victor City Hall, 32 Elm Street, Victor, Idaho on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The public hearing is described below.


PROJECT NAME – ZX2016-11 Zoning Map Amendment for Teton Valley RV Park

Randy Larsen/TVR, LLC has requested a rezone for the property located at 1208 W Hwy 31 Victor, ID 83455. The property is commonly known as the Teton Valley RV Park. The request is to rezone the 10.3 acre property from RM-2 (Residential Multi-family) to REC (Parks and Recreation).  The rezone is related to a Conditional Use Permit request to expand the types of accommodations and amenities at the current RV Park.
