Budgeting for Outcomes steering team members needed

The City of Victor is recruiting citizens to serve on steering teams for the Budgeting for Outcomes process. Budgeting for Outcomes steering team members will help drive the City of Victor budget for Fiscal Year 2016. Team members will brainstorm activities and actions that the City should undertake during the next Fiscal Year, and will create "requests for results" that City staff then respond to.

Victor Urban Renewal Agency seeks public comment on the 2015 Annual Report

The public is invited to give comment on the Victor Urban Renewal Agency's 2015 Annual Report at a special meeting of the Victor Urban Renewal Agency to take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9th in Victor City Hall (32 Elm Street, Victor, ID 83455). This special meeting has been scheduled to occur just prior to Victor City Council's regularly scheduled City Council at 7:00 p.m. in order to make it convenient for members of the public to attend. If public comment exceeds the time available for the Urban Renewal Agency's meeting the meeting will be continued to another date and time in the month of March.

Written public comment may be submitted prior to the meeting, by 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 7th, 2016, in the following ways:

·         In person at Victor City Hall (32 Elm Street, Victor, ID 83455) with the comment directed ATTN: Urban Renewal Agency.

One volunteer needed to fill open seat on Victor Planning and Zoning Commission

The City is recruiting 1 new member to serve on the Victor Planning and Zoning Commission to fill the seat vacated when former P&Z Commissioner Will Frohlich was sworn in to City Council this January. If you are interested in land use and development in Victor serving on the P&Z Commission is a great way to be involved in civic life.

To be eligible for this seat you must currently live within Victor City Limits, and you must have resided within City limits for at least the past 6 months. You also must have resided within Teton County (in Victor City Limits or elsewhere) for at least the past 2 years.

City to auction 1.077 acre property on corner of S. Beryl and W. Dogwood

The City of Victor will auction the City-owned property at the corner of S. Beryl and W. Dogwood, located in Victor, Idaho, at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016.

City Council adopts new Zoning Map and Articles 9-15 of new code

After holding a public hearing on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall and considering public comment,  Victor City Council voted unanimously to adopt Articles 9-15 of the new land development and zoning code and a new Zoning Map, as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission, with no changes. The full new code and new zoning map take effect Thursday, December 17th, 2015.

City Council adopts Articles 1-8 of the new land development and zoning code

After holding a public hearing on Wednesday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall and considering public comment,  Victor City Council voted unanimously to adopt Articles 1-8 of the new land development and zoning code as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission, with no changes.

Victor City Council will now hold a public hearing on Articles 9-15 of the new land development and zoning code, and the proposed zoning map, on Wednedsay, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. in Victor City Hall. If Council votes to adopt Articles 9-15 and the proposed zoning map with no changes the full new code will take effect on Thursday, December 17th upon publication in the Teton Valley News.
