Teton RideShare Commuter Survey

Teton RideShare is a grassroots project with the goal of improving commuting options in the Teton region that aims to add new options to existing transportation for folks who regularly commute.  They are working to develop a dedicated app that will facilitate ridesharing and are also a recent 1% for the Tetons grant recipient. As part of their efforts, they would like to know what commuters think about ridesharing and how they would use it most effectively. Please take three minutes to fill out their survey to let them know what you think. We are looking to get as many people as possible to fill the survey out who commute to other communities in the region in order to better serve our community. Thank you and keep an eye and ear out for further developments! And please share as much as possible!!

New Mobility West Community Charrette

Earlier this year, the City of Victor and several partner organizations won technical assistance from New Mobility West. New Mobility West is an initiative of the nonprofit organization Community Builders, which works with people throughout the West to help build prosperous, successful places.

The workshop in Victor (9/13-9/15/2016 focused on "Catalyst Projects", because the city has done some great visioning, as well as has the neccisary tools (Comp Plan, new Zoning Code and Engineering Standards) in place to see great results. The Community Builders team met with local stakeholders, partner oraganizations, elected officials and the public to discuss and design some of these "Catalyst Projects".

Here are the results:

Proclamation for Daniel Maness- Eagle Scout

On Wednesday August 10, 2016, the Victor City Council honored one of our local Eagle Scouts. The Eagle Scout Rank is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scout program of the Boy Scouts of America. Since it's introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout Rank has been earned by more than 2 million young men. The title of "Eagle Scout" is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle"
